I fooled with Adobe CS2's filters and brushes... not a lot came out of this except an attempt at lighting and using layers for shadows and hightlights rather than painting them on the base color. Kind of comes in handy.. wish I had a good tutorial.
I guess this was a success. Sure.. I did the base with airbrush and couldn't decide if I wanted a smooth marking pattern, splotchy, or jagged.. all 3 happened. It was a game of ball-in-cups.. testing each filter on top of and underneath each other, very frustrating because I still didn't achieve my desire effect...whatever that was. But I'm done working on it, hope I got all those markings right.. ehn.
